During the first five years of her career, Shauntay served as a new home specialist, guiding buyers through the homebuilding and purchase process with confidence and care. From 2007 to 2011, she owned and operated a property management firm in Uptown Charlotte, gaining valuable hands-on experience in property operations, tenant relations, and asset management. She later served from 2013 to 2016 as head of the leasing department and acquisition manager for a major hedge fund company, where she worked with a large pipeline of investors and managed high-volume real estate transactions.
